What is that "popping" noise?

Ever thought...What's that popping sound when I get adjusted? Here's your answer!   The popping sound is technically called "cavitation", though many people call it "cracking". When a Nitrogen gas bubble is trapped in a joint it makes a "popping" sound when the joint is adjusted.   --Think about "popping" a cork on champagne. Getting Back on Your Feet

To Your Health August, 2013 (Vol. 07, Issue 08) Getting Back on Your Feet After an Ankle Sprain By Thomas Michaud, DC In the U.S. alone, 23,000 people sprain their ankle each day, resulting in 1.6 million doctor office visits annually. Joining a spa set-up where you need to come every month for a lesser price is very popular, but how do you know you are not just another client they see day to day? Are they are looking for results or keeping track of your last massage and improvements? Wouldn't it be nice to go to a massage therapist that deals with anatomy everyday and works side by side with a chiropractor where they have the opportunity discuss cases and get a better insight to conditions they are working on? Massage therapists in chiropractic offices get to work on clients in a professional mind set. This allows the massage therapists to grow in their knowledge of anatomy as well as th
